Day 1 - Moncton to Drummondville
Get to know your fellow passengers today as we travel through New Brunswick and into Quebec.
Day 2 - Drummondville to St. Jacob’s
After breakfast we hit the highway. This afternoon, after passing Montreal and Toronto, the roar of the 401 gives way to gentle farmland and the quiet beauty of the village of St. Jacob’s, Ontario.
We check in to the Best Western St. Jacob’s Country Inn, our home for the next 4 nights. Meals B,D
Day 3 - St. Jacob’s
Spend the day enjoying the shows and exhibits of the St. Jacob’s Quilt Show. Visit Quilts for the World, featuring the Elmira Quilter’s Guild and a display of the Mennonite Relief Sale quilts,
the Quilt Gallery at The Mill, the Contemporary Quilt Exhibit and the Church Theatre Trunk Show. There will be free time for lunch and a chance to explore downtown St. Jacob’s with over 100
boutiques and specialty shops. Meals B,D
Day 4 - St. Jacob’s
Explore the St. Jacob’s Farmer’s Market, one of the largest in Canada, and visit the many Mennonite vendors for delicious food and local handcrafted goods. Then learn the story of theMennonites and see Old Order farms as we travel through Mennonite Country. Watch for horses and buggies! Meals B,D
Day 5 - St. Jacob’s
Shop at the Merchant Mall - a one stop shop for quilt enthusiasts. After lunch we tour the Kitchener-Waterloo region and learn how the German settlers’ influence extends to the present-day. This evening you may wish to visit the St. Jacob’s Outlets, located across the street from our hotel. Meals B,D
Day 6 - St. Jacob’s to Drummondville
Today we say good-bye to the village of St. Jacob’s and begin our journey home. Meals B
Day 7 - Drummondville to Moncton
We say farewell to our fellow passengers and head home; our hearts filled with happy memories and our suitcases filled with fabrics, quilting supplies and souvenirs! Meals B |
