Day 1 - Moncton to Portland
Get to know your fellow passengers today as we travel through
New Brunswick and into Maine.
Day 2 - Portland to Cape Cod
This morning we travel to Plymouth, Massachusetts where we
meet our local guide. View the Forefather’s Monument and the Mayflower II with time for lunch and shopping along the waterfront
area. This afternoon we travel to Sandwich and enjoy a visit to the Sandwich Glass Museum. We check in to the Bayside Resort,
our home for the next 4 nights. Bring your swimsuit to enjoy the
indoor pool! Meals B,D
Day 3 - Martha’s Vineyard
Board the ferry to the “Storybook Island” of Martha’s Vineyard.
Learn about the history of the island as you travel through the
townships with free time for lunch and exploring in Edgartown. If
time permits, enjoy a walk through the gingerbread cottage colony
in Oak Bluffs. Meals B,D
Day 4 - Cape Cod
This morning we tour the “hub” of the Cape, Hyannis. Stop at the Kennedy Memorial, drive through Hyannisport and view St.
Francis Xavier Church. Then we travel down historic route 6A to Provincetown. See traditional architecture, lighthouses,
windmills, sandy shores and dunes. Free time in Provincetown for lunch and exploring. Tonight we enjoy a lobster dinner (alternatives to lobster are available.) Meals B,D
Day 5 - Newport
Travel to America’s first resort town of Newport, Rhode Island.
Learn that fascinating history of this town, drive along Ten Mile
Drive and Belleview Avenue for views of the summer “cottages”
and tour The Breakers, the most opulent of the mansions and the
former summer home of the Vanderbilts. There will be free time
for lunch and shopping at the Brick Market Place. We’re back in
Cape Cod tonight and enjoy a group dinner. Meals B,D
Day 6 - Cape Cod to Boston to Portland
After breakfast we say good-bye to Cape Cod and head to Boston for a city tour. See the Back Bay, the Public Gardens, Beacon
Hill, the USS Constitution and the sights along the Freedom Trail.
Free time for lunch and shopping at Quincy Market. Overnight in
Portland, Maine. Meals B
Day 7 - Portland to Moncton
We say farewell to our fellow passengers and head for
home with fond memories of Cape Cod and coastal New
England. Meals B
